I have stayed in this motel 6 quite a bit in the past year and I want to say this. (Laura) the manager is amazing she has always been helpful and always been willing to answer any questions and does so with respect, courtesy and above all she has a smile on her face which makes it that much better. Kaitlyn- I'll say ditto with what i said about Laura. She always is easy to work with and willing to help. I have seen both handle tough situations with respect dignity and professionalism. As far as the rooms go they are always clean and smell good the housekeepers Do a good job cleaning haven't had a dirty room yet they take the time to clean and make repairs I always see some kind of work being done to improve rooms as well.. This is the best motel 6 I have stayed in and it's 100% the staff!!! I have stayed in allot of hotels in Portland and 90% of them the front desk staff is rude and made me feel uncomfortable... That hasn't happened here once. I'm not here to persuade anyone or tell anything that hasn't happened. The reality is it's a room for a price that you don't have to take out a loan for.. Handled by people that aren't rude or unwilling to help.. Also! We have 2 dogs and they have treats at the front desk and there's no hassle!!
Is it a 5 star hotel? No. But for the price it was very much satisfactory to crash for a night in town with my dog. Room appeared renovated with lvp flooring. Shower stall large and water was hot. No amenities like a fridge or microwave but they were not needed. They have ample lawn area to potty my dog. I felt safe Downside was there was a clump of hair on the shower wall from the previous guest that was left uncleaned. Room had a strong artificial scent as if to mask something. Also noises from the other tenants were loud from time to time. But I would stay here again for the price which was $40-50 less than other options in the area
