This place is a very comfortable place to stay. The people are very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. Yes, the rooms come with full-size fridges in them. No, they don't serve breakfast, but there are several restaurants within walking distance, so breakfast, lunch, and supper shouldn't be a problem. I'm sorry to say the pool has been removed and is now a great place to sit and have an outdoor bar-b-q. There is a relatively cheap laundry room for guests to use as the machines are well maintained. The only major downfall to this place is its location is next to an active railroad that does have a train that might come through, but it's very rare. Major historical landmarks are not far by car, maybe 2-3 minutes to Fort Concho, and an additional minute to historic downtown. So all in all, this IS a very good place to stay.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was clean. However, the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the TV's sound quality was lacking. While the lamps in the room didn't work, there was enough light from the ceiling fixtures. On the plus side, the shower had excellent water pressure and hot water.
