We arrived at 2am. We actually tried a couple other motels and no one would even answer the door or phone. The manager here was obviously asleep, but was still welcoming, courtesy and helpful. The rooms were simple, but comfortable and clean. The 2nd day we were there, we had planned a family picnic at the park. A sudden storm came thru. Motel 6 had a pavilion and barbecue area. We asked if we could bring our group and use it. The answer was absolutely- that’s what it was for. Will definitely stay there again on our trips to Rockport
Staff was real accommodating to find a spot for my RV. Stayed the night before checking into our RV resort for the winter. Next year we will do the same thing. After driving 1500 miles this was a pleasant suprise 😃
