The rooms aren't perfect, but they're definitely not bad. Just little fit and finish details that could be better. Overall, the service is great, the rooms are clean, and the area is quiet and conveniently located. Not much to complain about here. I was here with my two small dogs last week, and had no issues with them either. There's a little grass area near the quiet side street, and doggy bags and trash cans over there. Great little hotel
We got a king size room for the Memorial Day weekend and it was perfectly comfortable. The rooms need updating but it was clean and served all our purposes. Close location to Garner State Park and about an hour and a half from Lost Maple Park. Crystal, who checked us in, gave us the best recommendations for restaurants. We had a microwave and refrigerator and was close to fast food, HEB and Walgreens. Would stay again.
