Always friendly staff, motel kept clean. My AC unit was extremely loud but I only stayed one night and couldn’t switch rooms for other reasons. In my reservation I had also asked for an extra blanket and towel for my elderly mother because she gets cold easy. But didn’t get them. Very minor things compared to the value and affordability. I travel with dogs and an elderly person. Motel 6 has helped me be able to keep traveling without spending a fortune on pet fees.
Water Smell Needs Fixing My stay in Room 320 at Motel 6 Weslaco was overall pleasant. The staff provided great customer service, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the water from both the shower and sink had a strong, fishy, ocean-like smell, which was unpleasant. If they can resolve this issue, it would make for an even better experience. Other than that, it was a good stay.
