Upon reading reviews, I was very nervous about booming this hotel. However, I grabbed ear plugs and prayed for the best. We taverns from north of Houston to Alice for a family funeral and needed a hotel on our route home so we could see more family. We just needed a place to shower and sleep. My husband had a great experience checking us in, he was given an option so we could choose the location of our room. For safety purposes, he chose up front so our vehicle would be in a well lit area. The rooms are small by all the bedding and towels smell fresh and clean. There's a mini frig and mini microwave. The HEB is a 4 minute drive so we got a few snacks and bubble bath for our kiddo. Other than residual light coming in around the blackout curtain, our night was relatively quiet. We didn't have any noise above us and people were either on our schedule or considerate because we hears doors closing but no one was allowing them to slam. We just got into our vehicle and it was undisturbed all night. 🎉
We got towed in after an accident and we were a total sh!t show. With four animals and all the belongings that we brought for our trip crammed into the lobby. And the gal at the front, Liz was so kind and accommodating. She listened to us gripe with kindness and empathy. Much appreciated!! We don’t take the exceptional service for granted. Sometimes it’s the little things that touch the heart the deepest.
