We had an amazing stay with the crew at the Motel 6 in Harlingen TX. They were friendly, and took care of everything. No employees go in your room unless you are there. I read that bad reviews that they use to get there but since it was taken over by this group it was turned back into a great place to stay. Close to plenty of places to eat and quiet even though it is on frontage road. I was very pleased and will stay there the next time I go to Harlingen.
The room was pleasant, tidy, and peaceful, featuring new towels and recent renovations, all at an affordable price. However, it lacked extra comforts, such as a mini fridge, microwave, or additional pillows, and only provided basic toiletries like two small bars of soap and toilet paper. It served well for a restful night's sleep during my travels. Although I didn't use the pool, it appeared to be well-maintained from my room.
