The staff here is very friendly, but the rooms cost more than what was listed online. My boyfriend and I paid $73 for one night. The room was mostly clean, but the towels and bedsheets had stains. The walls had mismatched paint, and there was even a bullet hole in the window from the inside. Part of the floor was damaged, and the shower head definitely needs to be replaced. The TV worked, but the screen was blurry. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but we ended up rating the room 3 stars—until we saw a roach run across the floor in the middle of the night, which made the room feel dirty. Overall, it’s not worth $73. It feels more like a $40-a-night motel.
We stayed one night. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The heat worked well. The water was hot even after 2 long showers. The gentleman at the front counter explained everything in depth and was very kind. If you're looking for somewhere affordable in the Richmond area, definitely check this place out. It does have a pool but considering it's October it was not open.
