This is the best bent for buck motel in the city. Staff is a very kind and understanding family, but they don't put up with drama and keep the rooms in great shape. They clean every day and you can see the moda center out your window. The only reason I don't mark 5 star on the rooms is they really ought to have microwaves, critical if you are visiting the city and living on take out. But the beds are nice, they do have good coffee makers they come with some pretty tasty coffee, and you get a nice desk with a TV bigger than you'll get in motels I've stayed in that cost a lot more. Broadway is kind of s notorious street in the city, there's a lot of addiction issues, but most of they is east of the location and it's been immediately quiet in the week I have stayed here. Just up the road is access to the A and B street car also which will take you to all the best spots downtown. i highly recommend the property if you're in town to see your favorite band or joh hunting as I am, and you're dead center from the beautiful East side but still close enough to downtown and you don't pay downtown prices.
