Husband and I went out for Valentine's Day, and decided that we both wanted to drink, so I went online and booked a room here at like 7pm for that night! We finally made it there around 9-9:30 and the check in couple were unphased by our lateness, and tipsyness. They even suggested a few places within walking distance, should we want to continue our date. I had booked a room with a king size bed. Upon arrival, they did not have any available, so she put us in a room with a queen and a kitchenette- which I'm sure is much more expensive, but we did not get the upcharge. And I'll tell you- if we were to stay for any length of time, that kitchenette room would absolutely be where we would stay! It was like a little apartment! Great for a single or couple. We were also put in one of the rooms on the backside- WHEN we come back for another date night, I will be sure to request to be back there again! There's absolutely nothing like looking out the window and seeing the ocean. The *ONLY* downside to the view is that they do not use blackout curtains. So at 7:30am we were blinded by the sun coming up. I should have realized that, when I could see the sidewalk railinh through the curtain at night. The only other negative was the floor. It's wood laminate, and being right by the ocean it had some moisture issues (mild bumping and buckling here and there) all understandable- but it was pretty dirty. There was some stickiness to it... kind of like they used the wrong type of cleaner for that type of floor, and quite a bit of dusty crumbly bits that stuck to your feet. Not a deal breaker, just noticeable. The bed is firm, which I liked. Husband thought it was a bit too firm for him. Oh, and they only give 2 pillows on the bed... and they are super soft and fluffy, which means very little head support. I did not check to see if we could get extra pillows, so I'm not complaining, just mentioning : if you need more head support, see if you can get extra pillows. Another heads up: if you book and pay online like we did, they did still require an additional $40 deposit when we checked in. We paid cash, so we got it back as soon as we checked out... so I don't really understand the purpose of the deposit, but, I'm just a messenger sharing what I learned! Great stay, great view, great owners, will return!

This was the best place to stay compared to the other places nearby, affordable, cleaner and overall better atmosphere. Debra was very nice and attentive, only issue was the sheets were stained but they were washed. Beware of other inns nearby, this is your best shot if you want to stay in the area. The beach is right behind this inn and is open until 2am. We will be back if we’re on this side of town.
