The motel was clean and had a nostalgic feel and look about it. I have watched all the Little House on the Prairie episodes and wanted to go to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and the original dugout, prairie. This was only about 10 miles from Walnut Grove. It's a rural area, of course, and I think the motel suits it accordingly. We would and will, hopefully, stay here again. We stayed 3 nights. No issues whatsoever.
Staff wasn't real welcoming, but the room was great - clean, amenities for everything we could possibly need. And despite the blizzard outside, the room was very cozy!
