The motel was clean and had a nostalgic feel and look about it. I have watched all the Little House on the Prairie episodes and wanted to go to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and the original dugout, prairie. This was only about 10 miles from Walnut Grove. It's a rural area, of course, and I think the motel suits it accordingly. We would and will, hopefully, stay here again. We stayed 3 nights. No issues whatsoever.
For a small town hotel in the middle of nowhere, this worked well. It looks like they upgraded and did some TLC. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, I appreciated the fridge and microwave. The carpet needs to be replaced but the bathroom was sparkling and water pressure great. Everything worked in the room. It was very quiet at night.
