I would rate this place a 4.5. I didn't want to rate it just a 4. I stayed in room 20 with a jetted tub. When I first walked in, it looked dated and had marks on the walls and baseboards. It also had a slight wet dog smell but not too bad. I couldn't tell where it was coming from and the floors were LVT. I got out my cleaning supplies and the marks I thought were dirt appear only to be scuffs because there was no dirt I could scrub off anywhere. It could probably just use some fresh paint. I don't normally use jetted tubs in hotels but this one was so clean. There was no hair or scum in or around the jets. I really enjoyed my bath. There was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfy and I woke up the next morning refreshed. I am allergic to dogs and I knew in advance that this was a dog friendly place. I didn't have any allergy issues during my stay so again, I want to mention how clean this place was. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again. I visited in May so it was very quiet and peaceful. I am not sure how it would be in the summer.
This wasn't the first time, I stayed at Coast River Inn. I am a return customer. The reason I am a return customer is because, the rooms are so nice always clean . Very spacious. The people at the front desk are just lovely each and every time I have stayed there. I think in the last 5yrs, I have stayed there about 5 times. My daughter and her family also have stayed there multiple times.The prices during the wk are great. We have also arrived at the beach (Seaside)on a Friday evening late, had reservations at a neighboring hotel but they booked us for the wrong weekend. Most every hotel in Seaside seemed to be booked that wkend. So we went to see by chance if Coast River Inn had a room. They came through for us once again. 2 bedroom 3 king sz beds with a kitchen and two bathrooms. It was a townhouse apt. Huge! . For under $150 night . We stayed the whole weekend. Thank you Coast River Inn! ★★★★★ FRIENDLY/CLEAN & AFFORDABLE ! ♥ What more cloud u ask for ? I could only think of one thing and that is the ⛱️ beach ! lol
