We recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. My husband surprised me with the trip and had reached out to the hotel ahead of time to see if there was anything they could do to help celebrate. What they did truly exceeded our expectations. When we arrived at our room, we were welcomed with a beautiful handwritten card, fresh flowers, and chocolates. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the entire stay feel incredibly special. On top of that, we were given what I truly believe was the best ocean view at the property. The attention to detail, kindness of the staff, and genuine effort to make our stay memorable did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to find a place that goes above and beyond like this. If you’re considering a stay in Newport, I highly recommend booking here. We will absolutely be back!
Great little place to stay. Nice to have a pool option on the coast, though the pool area could use some updating. The room, a single king, was spacious and well set up. The flooring (vinyl I believe) is perfect for a place so near the beach and coming back after the pool. The view was pretty you can hear the ocean all night long (best with the window open in my opinion) it's a short-ish walk to the beach itself. If you have small kids or a lot you are bringing you might want to drive down, it's only about 10 minutes but all uphill to get back to the hotel. The Continental breakfast was great, yogurt, giant waffles, cereal, bagels, juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and a few other options.
