This place doesn't get the credit it deserves! No, it's not the nicest motel in town. It's not in the most desirable location. HOWEVER- the staff treat you like a real person. My husband and I have unfortunately had the pleasure of staying at just about every motel in Muskegon. This is the only place where the staff worked with us when we wernt able to get rent together by 11am. They understood that our paychecks came later in the afternoon and they allowed us to stay and make our payment when tge money came in. They didnt fuss or make us feel unwelcome the least bit. There was even one time we were not able to pay the full amount. They understood and gave us the extra time to get the funds together. As long as you communicate with them and not take advantage of their kindness they will work with you. Now, im not saying to go be a week behind or anything! But if ever you need a little slack....just be respectful and keep them up-to-date on the situation! The staff is amazing! Especially the young girl at the sesk during the day. She is so sweet! D works nights and can come across a little intimidating sometimes...but as long as you are respectful and following the properties rules hes a pretty good dude! Nichole is a Queen! She handles business with confidence and is a valuable asset to the business. There is another gentleman who works weekends and usually night shifts...relatively new employee. He has impeccable customer service skills and really represents the company perfectly! This will always be my first choice of lodging! Oh- i forgot to mention- it is also the cheapest price room in muskegon!!
First off, Nicole at the front desk was amazing. Super helpful. Very kind. Made my visit and check in pretty flawless. However I did call the day before to inquire about an early check in and the gentleman who answered the phone. Was quite rude. So whoever you are. Be more like Nicole. And stop being so miserable. As for the rooms. Basic. Nothing fancy. But I also knew what I was getting and paying for. The room did feel clean and was spacious. Location was so so. Again, I also knew this when I booked. But I’d stay stay here again.
