The temple also hosts Vipassana meditation for visitors and is a great place to head to when in the neighborhood.  

Rajamangala National Stadium: The Rajamangala Stadium is the national stadium of Thailand and home ground of the Thailand National Football Team. It forms a part of the HuaMark Sports complex. The stadium is run by the Sports Authority of Thailand and is a must visit when there is a match going on.

Airplane Graveyard: Lying in derelict pieces, the bodies of old airplanes litter the Airplane Graveyard on Ramkhamhaeng Road. One of the more interesting and intriguing places to head to in Bangkapi, this area offers a look into old aircrafts in various stages of decomposition for a very minimal fee. Wat Bechamabhopit: Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is a Buddhist temple that is best known for its stuccos, white marble cella and minarets, high gables, peaked capellas, stepped out rooftops, and elaborate finials. The architect of this temple is Narisara Nuvadtivongs. The gorgeous architecture is perfect for photography and pictures. Steeped in culture and history, the temple is a great place to visit when one comes to the area.

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre: This is a contemporary art and culture centre in Bangkok. There are numerous art and craft exhibitions and performances on the premises through the week. Jim Thompson House Museum: This is a popular housing museum which sees a lot of footfall through the year. The museum was built in 1959 and houses the art collected by the curator Jim Thompson. The collection primarily comprises South Asian Art including numerous artworks depicting the Buddha and his life, the stages of his enlightenment, and lives of his disciples. There are numerous paintings over wood, cloth, and paper. The Jataka and the Vessantara Jataka Tales are the primal motifs in many art forms, making it a mesmerising collection to go through.
