PLEASE SEE GOOGLE MAPS ENTRY FOR SEDAGO INN** So happy to have discovered this place, partly newly renovated. My room feels more like a master bedroom in a shared private apartment than a hotel room, and I really like that. Staff are all great and there's a cool vibe to the place, complete with well cared for resident cats. It's transitioning from Sedago Inn to Collection O, but do note the external signage still says Sedago Inn if you're trying to find the place. Grab does seem to get you here correctly. Renovation is in progress but the important stuff is complete. New, high quality RFID door locks, new flooring, beds, bathroom and shower 🚿 equipment (from Italy). Walls could do with a re-paint and desperately need mirrors (for shaving etc). I'd suggest this place is probably best suited to relaxed, chilled out solo male travellers. I certainly find the place super comfortable (nice bed, lots of work space for two laptops, phones, tablet, notepad 📒, pens etc). Comfy bed and pillows, and linens that are clean enough and smell fresh. Adequate size room, peaceful (yes there's road noise but you're pretty much in the city centre so to be expected). Indomaret mini mart 1 minute away. 15 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill Mall and Hypermarket. For me at least it feels like being home and enjoy interacting with the super friendly and helpful team here. Extended my stay by two weeks after my first night. It won't be for everyone, but it's an ideal base for me in Batam. >> By the way, very fast and stable Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the property <<
