What a fantastic location right on the seafront! It's situated just south of the bustling town center, making it wonderfully tranquil. The Guest House has a charming military theme that adds a unique character to the place. Breakfasts were abundant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the themed lounges. There’s an impressive amount of lounge space available if you want to step out of your room, especially if you're looking to socialize with other guests. The property even features a pool table in its own dedicated room, which is a lovely touch. There's also an "honesty bar," which reflects a host who genuinely cares for his guests and trusts them. I didn’t take advantage of it, but it was reassuring to know it was there. One evening, I found myself craving a packet of crisps, but unfortunately, there weren’t any at the bar. I think having some bar snacks available would be a great addition and might encourage a few more drink purchases. Just a thought! The photos I’ve shared are from my room (No.9). What a wonderful property! It looks absolutely stunning from the outside and has such a warm, inviting feel as soon as you step inside. Everything was spotless and well-organized. I truly adore the unique character of the building. Our room was immaculate and modern, equipped with all the essentials, including a handy little mini fridge for keeping our drinks cool. A fan in the bedroom would have been nice since it was quite warm during our stay, and the sun poured in all day. Speaking of which, the panoramic views from the bedroom were breathtaking, especially at 6am! Breakfast was delightful, and the honesty bar was a fantastic touch. We had a great time playing pool in the evenings, enjoying a drink, and listening to some light music. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. While we don’t have a direct military connection, we truly admire the efforts this family has made to honor military service and their charitable work supporting veterans and active service members. We are already looking forward to our next stay here; it’s definitely going to be a favorite for us until we finally make our move to Lowestoft!
