My experience, lovely place to stay and they help me with all my needs. They cleaning my room every single day and give me new towels and sheets, it's a quiet place and the hospitality is amazing. It starts with the management and the house keeping. They are so respectful and nice, and friendly. The breakfast is a plus and it's a good selection of food, I have a 21 year old kid that enjoy so much every single day the breakfast, a suggestion, maybe change the carpets, and I miss the microwave and fridge. This will be amazing with those three things but overall it was a great stay.
Me and my husband spent two nights at the guesthouse, this end of july. For us, it was a very good experience. Welcome is perfect, we were served a good and diversified breakfast, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The house is near Craigmillar Park and we could go and visit the castle just after breakfast and city center Can be reached very easily with frequent busses. Only suggestion : maybe replace carpets, which are for most of them at the end of their life ;-).
