As someone on the autism spectrum along with a few other diagnoses, I found myself quite distressed due to recent events. I initially took a wrong turn upon arrival, but a kind gentleman came out to guide me to the right place. Although I had booked a single room, it was fully booked, and I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a double at no extra charge. The room was very comfortable—warm, clean, and quiet. The lack of WiFi was a bit of a downside, so perhaps adding some repeaters in the hallways to extend the reception's WiFi to the rooms would be beneficial? I would definitely consider booking here again, especially since I'm currently facing homelessness through no fault of my own, along with some serious human rights issues and neglect from Torbay Council, TSDFT, DPNHST, and D&CP. We were pleasantly surprised when we were moved to a ground floor room after the thoughtful gentleman noticed I was using crutches; that was truly above and beyond! It was great to have the freedom to come and go as we pleased, and an added perk was the free parking. Although when I initially called, I spoke to what I think was a sales rep or booking staff who mentioned there would be a charge.
