
Breakfast was fantastic! The only hiccup I encountered was getting stuck in my room; the key was a bit finicky. When I locked the door from the inside, I found myself unable to get out, so I had to call reception. Someone arrived at my door within a few minutes and suggested I switch rooms, which I was more than happy to do. I was heading out for dinner, so I made the move when I got back. The lock on the new room was also a tad tricky, so I opted not to lock it from the inside. Since you've recently refurbished the hotel, perhaps the locks could use a little attention too. The bed was super comfy, and the room was quite warm, so I ended up sleeping on top of the covers. Overall, I was pleased with the room; it was clean and peaceful.

I had a wonderful experience at the Imperial Hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Emily. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly kind and helpful. I encountered a few issues with my Booking.com reservation that led to my room being unexpectedly cancelled. Understandably, it was a stressful situation — but Emily handled it with such patience and professionalism. She took the time to listen carefully, reassured me, and guided me through the resolution process with empathy and grace. Her calm demeanor and clear communication made all the difference. Emily truly understands how to support guests during difficult moments, and her warm and attentive manner turned a stressful start into a positive experience.
