Location: The accommodation is located on a quiet street above the sea; some rooms have direct sea views. Several pubs, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. Parking: There are four parking spaces in front of the house, but you can park for free on the side of the road across the street. We had no problem finding a space during our three nights. Room: We had a very comfortable room with a great view of the sea. The entire house was very quiet. The upper floors are only accessible via relatively steep stairs. Bathroom: Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit small, and there is very little storage space for accessories. Staff: We received a friendly welcome from the owner, but the lady who prepared breakfast was particularly nice, cheerful, accommodating, and approachable. Breakfast: Breakfast times are quite limited, but this is compensated for by the excellent breakfast. For breakfast, in addition to coffee, tea, juice, etc. from the buffet, you could also choose freshly prepared dishes such as eggs, English breakfast, waffles, etc. It was perfect. Lage: Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Straße oberhalb des Meeres, die Zimmer haben teilweise Blick direkt auf das Meer. Fußläufig erreicht man mehrere Pubs, Restaurants und Geschäfte. Parken: Vor dem Haus gibt es vier Parkplätze, allerdings kann man kostenfrei gegenüber am Straßenrand parken. Wir hatten kein Problem während der drei Übernachtungen einen Parkplatz zu finden. Zimmer: Wir hatten ein sehr behagliches Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer. Im ganzen Haus war es immer sehr ruhig. Die oberen Stockwerke sind nur über relativ steile Treppen erreichbar. Bad: Das Bad war leider etwas klein und es gibt nur sehr wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für Accessoires. Personal: Wir wurden zwar vom Inhaber freundlich empfangen, aber insbesondere die Dame, die das Frühstück zubereitet, war besonders nett, fröhlich, zuvorkommend und aufgeschlossen. Frühstück: Die Frühstückszeiten sind ziemlich begrenzt, das wird aber durch das tolle Frühstück ausgeglichen. Zum Frühstück konnte man, neben Kaffee, Tee, Saft etc. vom Buffet, zusätzlich frisch zubereitete Speisen wie Eier, english breakfast, Waffeln etc. auswählen. Das war perfekt. Bar: Es ist eine kleine Bar vorhanden, die wurde von uns aber nicht genutzt. Preis-/Leistung: Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

This was our first trip to Newquay and this was the perfect place to stay! So conveniently located with breath taking views and access to all the restaurants. The staff were lovely and so welcoming from the moment you step in. From interacting with the kids to remembering your breakfast preferences. The rooms were modern with great size tv, fans and the attached kids room was lovely. Giving them independence and space while allowing the grown ups their own quiet and space. The only downside is there was a smell in one corner of the room, not quite sure if it’s plumbing but I did notice a plug in room spray. This is definitely somewhere we plan on coming back to for our next holiday! Thank you all.
