The reception and pub are absolutely delightful! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I particularly enjoyed the cozy seating arrangements, which create a lovely environment for both casual chats and more intimate gatherings. The drinks selection is impressive, and I found the menu to be quite varied, catering to all tastes. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some quality time with friends or family. Highly recommend!
The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. My room was impeccably clean. It's just a bit of a walk to the Metro Centre, or you can easily catch a bus since they run frequently. From the Metro Centre, you can hop on a train to Newcastle Central Station in about 10 minutes. The station at Dunston seems to be less busy, but there are plenty of trains and buses available to Gateshead and beyond.
