This was my fifth visit to Orestone Manor, and I’m delighted to say that the standards remain exceptional. It’s a beautifully appointed, family-run hotel situated in a truly breathtaking location, overlooking Labrador Bay — a view that never ceases to amaze. The team operates with precision and thoughtfulness, providing warm, attentive service that genuinely makes you feel at home. The rooms are immaculate, full of character, and comfortably furnished — clearly maintained with pride and meticulous attention to detail. The Bay Restaurant continues to impress, serving food of outstanding quality. Each meal was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor, featuring a menu that artfully combines creativity with classic appeal. It’s a true gem for the hotel and a destination in its own right. The residents’ breakfast is fantastic value at £10 — generous, freshly prepared, and served with the same care as dinner. It’s a wonderful way to start the day, whether you’re heading out to explore the coast or simply enjoying the view. Orestone Manor remains a beloved choice. For anyone in search of comfort, quality, and a touch of timeless English hospitality in a stunning setting, it’s hard to find a better option. I’ll certainly be returning, without a doubt.

This hotel is truly a hidden treasure. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. You could instantly sense that it was a family-run establishment rather than a corporate chain. I initially thought it was part of a chain due to the OYO logo, but I learned that it's just a booking platform that requires them to use that branding. Don't let that mislead you; this place has so much character! The same staff members were there throughout our stay, allowing us to connect with them a bit, and they genuinely took care of us. It seemed their main goal was to think, "How can we make this experience even better for our guests?" The cream tea and cake were absolutely delightful, and the idea of bottomless tea was just fantastic! They offered a later checkout than most hotels, were flexible with breakfast requests, and even came to fetch us for dinner from the lounge, carrying our drinks for us. Every detail was so thoughtful. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
