Fantastic location, just a stone's throw from Hyde Park, with bus stops nearby and Paddington Underground Station within easy reach. Most of the main attractions are just a pleasant walk away, taking no more than an hour. The room was simple yet quite inviting, and the bathroom was spacious enough. I appreciated that the bedding was spotless and the towels were replaced daily. The staff were friendly and eager to help. While breakfast wasn't formally arranged, there were delicious croissants and cupcakes available every day, along with the option to make coffee either at the reception or in the room. The wi-fi was impressively fast; I had an online meeting that went off without a hitch.
I have stayed here before and found it to be a great value for a hotel, but I’ve noticed that prices have really gone up lately, like everywhere in London. Still, I would definitely recommend it and would return myself, as the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and decent, though a bit snug for three people, which seems to be a common British thing. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to Edgware Road Station, with plenty of affordable shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Plus, it’s only a 15-minute walk to Leicester Gate, where you can relax in the lovely Italian gardens.
