I had the pleasure of staying at The Lodge last month, and it truly was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, a real gem of a person. He went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room was lovely, complete with an en-suite bathroom, a large flat-screen TV, a nice wardrobe, and a kettle stocked with tea and coffee. The highlight of this place is definitely its location—just a quick 10-minute stroll to the beach and nearby restaurants. If you're craving a late-night kebab, you can easily walk for 10 minutes and find one! The atmosphere felt so welcoming, almost like home, largely thanks to the owner who greeted me like an old friend. The staff were all very friendly as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Fantastic location just a short walk to some great restaurants and two pubs, plus a 10-minute stroll to the beach and pier. The staff are friendly and helpful; they might not always be at the reception, but a quick phone call and they’re there in no time. The key drop-off is super easy, just leave it in your room. The en-suite comes with a TV and they provide tea, coffee, and biscuits. It’s hard to find such amenities at these prices, as long as guests keep their expectations in check and appreciate this clean, simple accommodation for what it is, you really can’t go wrong with it or the staff.
