Fantastic location just a short walk to some great restaurants and two pubs, plus a 10-minute stroll to the beach and pier. The staff are friendly and helpful; they might not always be at the reception, but a quick phone call and they’re there in no time. The key drop-off is super easy, just leave it in your room. The en-suite comes with a TV and they provide tea, coffee, and biscuits. It’s hard to find such amenities at these prices, as long as guests keep their expectations in check and appreciate this clean, simple accommodation for what it is, you really can’t go wrong with it or the staff.

The owner was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. He kindly upgraded me from a single room with a shared bathroom to a lovely double room en suite since he had a better option available. I made sure to keep him informed about my arrival time as I was traveling by train, and I think he really appreciated that. I saw him almost every day, and he always checked in to see if I needed anything. While breakfast isn't offered at the hotel, there are plenty of great places to grab a bite within just a five-minute walk.
