A lovely location. The hotel was clean, and my husband mentioned that the breakfast was delicious. We came for the Newport Marathon, and it seemed they weren't quite prepared for the number of guests needing an early breakfast, such as toast and bagels to take back to our rooms, as there weren't enough seats available. When I booked for my husband, it seemed there weren’t enough slots for the number of rooms. Additionally, two of our towels had some mascara and makeup stains that didn’t come out. Like many hotels, the prices were higher over the marathon weekend, £168 per night plus £30 for our two dogs.
The team here is exceptionally friendly and always eager to assist. The self-service breakfast is fantastic, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The room was, as always, stunning in both appearance and cleanliness. I would certainly recommend the Belvilla Hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in Newport, South Wales.
