Conveniently located in the heart of the area, the exterior features a lovely terrace. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable, with a cosy bed and a very clean room. There’s plenty of hot water and minimal noise from outside. The request I made to change rooms (the first one had a loud plumbing noise) was handled effortlessly by the attentive staff, led by the capable and flexible Ruben. Fantastic - a five-star breakfast with excellent service. The grilled bacon was delicious, the Cumberland sausages were top quality, and the fried eggs were cooked to perfection. The hash browns, mushrooms, and more were all perfectly prepared, and fresh juice and fruit were also available. There’s also a good selection of continental breakfast options.

I have spent countless hours looking out of windows, reflecting on the course of my life. Thankfully, this place offered me a window with a view of the street, giving me the chance to ponder what others might be getting up to. The location in Aberdeen is perfect for this. It offers excellent value for the price and features just the right number of stairs that my doctor recommended; my wife insists she won't take me back unless I lose a bit of weight.
