The staff were absolutely wonderful. Joanne and Tony were incredibly warm and inviting. They are such lovely individuals. Both of them went above and beyond to ensure we felt as comfortable as possible. They were easygoing and very helpful. We adored the house and the surrounding area. The pool was just the right depth for the kids. The garden was stunning, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including barbecues, tables, and chairs. They even provided wetsuits and life jackets for the little ones. The dogs were also playful and affectionate. Another highlight was the nearby nature reserve, complete with a river that allows fishing. The scenery was breathtaking. A large Tesco was just a quick 3-minute drive away for groceries and essentials. Everything needed for cooking and serving was provided, including coffee, tea, and sugar. There were also lovely little extras like bubble bath, extra blankets, and towels. We were fortunate to stay in a charming self-contained cottage in the garden, which offered privacy and coziness, featuring really comfortable beds, a bath, and two showers.

The location is just under 10 minutes from London Gatwick airport, which is super convenient. We were allowed a late check-in at midnight, and the breakfast pantry was a nice touch. The host was very responsive, and the room was clean and a decent size, with a comfy bed, toilet, and shower. The decor was lovely too! They have a pool and hot tub, but we didn’t get a chance to use them since we only stayed for one night. For the price, it offers more amenities than your typical hotel room. We had a fridge, a TV with Netflix, a microwave, and a kettle in our room. Uber is readily available, and you won’t have to wait long for one. Just make sure to pin it to Hazelwick Oldfield Road correctly. We didn’t walk there, as it seemed a bit far, but a taxi or Uber costs around £10+.
