The staff were absolutely wonderful. Joanne and Tony were incredibly warm and inviting. They are such lovely individuals. Both of them went above and beyond to ensure we felt as comfortable as possible. They were easygoing and very helpful. We adored the house and the surrounding area. The pool was just the right depth for the kids. The garden was stunning, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including barbecues, tables, and chairs. They even provided wetsuits and life jackets for the little ones. The dogs were also playful and affectionate. Another highlight was the nearby nature reserve, complete with a river that allows fishing. The scenery was breathtaking. A large Tesco was just a quick 3-minute drive away for groceries and essentials. Everything needed for cooking and serving was provided, including coffee, tea, and sugar. There were also lovely little extras like bubble bath, extra blankets, and towels. We were fortunate to stay in a charming self-contained cottage in the garden, which offered privacy and coziness, featuring really comfortable beds, a bath, and two showers.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying here on November 6th, and we absolutely loved it! Joanne, the host, is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My little dog had a wonderful time playing with her dogs as soon as we arrived. The house, which is 200 years old, has a charming historical vibe that makes it stand out from the cookie-cutter Travel-lodges we often see today. The dining room is stocked with everything you could want for breakfast or a snack, and the beds are super comfy. The hotel was spotless, and our room was decorated in a bright and quirky style. I find it hard to relate to some of the other reviews out there. Sometimes I wonder if people are just looking to nitpick. For the price, this hotel is a gem in a fantastic location—right next to the airport, with a warm and welcoming host. We will definitely be back!
