The room had a lovely vintage charm and was quite cosy. However, even though check-out was scheduled for 12 noon, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 11:20 a.m., which made us feel a bit rushed. We also had some lively neighbours who were playing music and making noise late into the night, which disrupted our sleep. On the plus side, the hotel is in a fantastic location and offers good value for money.

The views of Winchester Cathedral are stunning, and it's conveniently close to the Guildhall and shops. The heated towel rails and the bath/shower combination are fantastic. Additionally, the relaxation area and the infused water available at reception are a lovely touch.
