The hotel was very lovely, but there was a significant disappointment as the spa, including the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, was closed for maintenance. This was not mentioned at the time of booking, and no compensation was offered. During my stay, I repeatedly asked about when the facilities would be reopening, explaining that I had travelled for four hours and specifically chosen this hotel for the spa. Unfortunately, it seemed that none of the staff showed much interest.
We were a group of five friends celebrating a 60th birthday. We booked a Classic Triple room along with two Classic Double rooms. The two Classic Double rooms were pristine. Extremely comfortable, with excellent amenities in both rooms, including fantastic air conditioning, which was a real plus given the warm weather. The breakfast was superb, very enjoyable, plentiful, and offered a wonderful variety. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
