The Peckham area is vibrant and full of character, to put it simply. Cleanliness and comfort are what truly set the Peckham Rooms hotel apart. Upon our arrival, even though it was after 10pm, we had already received an email with the entry password and key locker details. The entrance and lobby are beautifully decorated. The room was a tad smaller than I remembered from the photos of the Savana Room, but it was still comfortable and featured the most cosy bed with a thick mattress, along with immaculate sheets and bedding. It had a lovely savannah vibe that reminded me of Africa, complete with terracotta wall art and thoughtfully chosen pillowcases. The eco-friendly shower products provided were a nice touch. There was a small table and chair, as well as a wardrobe with hangers. A small cable television was also available. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the delightful breakfast, which included a selection of quality items (both the hot chocolate and coffee were organic), as well as cooked eggs, bread, muffins, cheese, jam, yogurt, and oat milk, among other things. The staff were professional, and upon request, a hairdryer was provided in our room after we contacted them online during our visit (the reception closes at 3pm, but they are still reachable, even at night!). The location in Peckham is convenient, with a bus stop just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, making for a journey of about 20 to 30 minutes into the city. The windows are well insulated, so even though we could hear police sirens at night, it felt like a peaceful retreat in the metropolis.

I honestly don't know where to start. I've been to London four times, and this was without a doubt the best place I've ever stayed. When I entered my room, I was astonished at how little I paid for such quality. The room had been recently updated, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. There were so many thoughtful touches like notepads, chocolates, pencils, and high-quality bathroom amenities. The bathroom also looked brand new. Even if you decide against breakfast, you can enjoy complimentary tea and speciality coffee in the breakfast area. The location might seem a bit intimidating, but the Tube connects you easily to the city centre. The lovely girl at the reception during the night shift was a delight. It was a pleasure speaking Italian with you.
