The hotel is beautiful and immaculate with fantastic rooms. We encountered a slight issue with our booking through Booking.com, as we had reserved a triple room, but the hotel doesn’t actually offer them. After driving over 500 miles from the Highlands of Scotland, we were a bit disappointed to find just two beds in our room, especially as we were three adult males. However, the two lovely female staff members at reception were remarkable and arranged an extra room for us at no extra charge. The rooms were stunning, modern, and very spacious, featuring lovely bathrooms, a desk to work at, a large TV mounted on the wall, and super comfy, clean beds. There’s plenty of parking available, even for larger vans, and the rooms are well-equipped and contemporary, all within walking distance of the town centre. The staff were exceptionally helpful, cheerful, and truly fantastic; they deserve five stars all on their own. We would absolutely stay here again, but if booking through this site, I’d recommend confirming the number of beds in a room with the hotel first. The hotel has a bar and restaurant on-site, but we arrived too late to enjoy it as it had closed. You might think it would be noisy with a McDonald's right next door and the traffic, but it wasn’t at all; we had a wonderful night’s sleep.

I found myself in a bit of a predicament when I discovered that my hotel was closed. The receptionist was exceptionally accommodating, even though her hotel was fully booked. I was due to return to Crewe at 22.45 the following day for another night at my 'closed' hotel, and she assured me that she would make sure I was looked after if I chose to stay at her hotel. I made that decision—especially after realising I had misplaced my phone! Once again, she was incredibly helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delightful. Truly excellent!
