Everything was fantastic, with stunning surroundings, beautiful views, and friendly staff. We enjoyed a two-night stay with breakfast included. The first morning's breakfast was delightful, offering a great variety of hot and cold options. However, on the second morning, which was a Bank Holiday, there was a bit of a shortage, especially with the hot food. Only sausages, beans, and eggs were available. I requested tomatoes, mushrooms, and hash browns, but they had run out, which was a little disappointing for me as a vegetarian. I ended up having beans on toast instead. It seems like larger hotels should have a better idea of how many guests to prepare for based on bookings. Additionally, I had read that the outdoor pool would be open from May to September, and I even confirmed this when I inquired about it. Unfortunately, it was closed during our stay, which was a bit of a letdown since I could have chosen another hotel with a pool but was really looking forward to experiencing the outdoor heated pool.

I can’t emphasize enough how uplifting this experience was. As someone who relies on crutches due to a disability, I was genuinely impressed by how incredibly accommodating the staff were in every possible way—they were absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻 As for the hotel itself, I was truly taken aback by its beauty, especially given the remarkably low price I paid. The grounds are breathtaking, and the outdoor Lido, which is apparently over a century old, was impeccably maintained. I even noticed a staff member diligently cleaning around the pool's edge at closing time. It’s pristine and heated, which was such a delightful surprise. The food at the lovely restaurant was also quite tasty. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a stay here before everyone else finds out about this hidden gem in the stunning Surrey countryside. I know I’ll be returning frequently!
