I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautifully decorated hotel, so much so that I just decided to extend my visit for another week after being here for nearly a week already. It’s incredibly serene and remarkably quiet, despite being located on a main road, thanks to the exceptional soundproofing of the rooms. My accommodation is quite spacious, featuring a cozy sitting area with a sofa and chair, along with a generous built-in desk. I absolutely adore the tub/shower combination (a genuine cast iron tub that’s wonderfully deep!), and there’s even a towel warmer. The wardrobe/storage space is ample, complete with tea-making facilities and a small cooler. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in early, which I truly appreciated. Ana at the front desk has been especially helpful, assisting me not only with my initial check-in but also with various inquiries about British currency and train travel into London. She promptly addressed a couple of minor issues I encountered upon arrival, all with a warm smile. Other team members have also been fantastic, including Magda, who radiates a genuine sense of hospitality. This warm welcome is invaluable when traveling, especially as this is my first visit to England. Everything has gone smoothly during my stay, which is why I chose to extend my time here. I’ve also relished the delightful breakfast and enjoyed lunch on the deck during sunny moments—the pizza was delicious, and the view of the river is simply lovely. I’ve taken leisurely walks to a nearby pub and shops, and the train station is just a short stroll away. There’s plenty to explore within a 10-15 minute walk. I also enjoy spending time in the public areas with my laptop—this charming hotel is both beautiful and tranquil, and I commend their dedicated staff for making my stay so enjoyable!
