Parking costs £6 a day, which is a bit frustrating—I wish I had known beforehand, especially since it’s quite a distance from the center. What am I really paying for? As others have mentioned, the place is a little worn and could use some fresh paint or repairs in spots, but honestly, it’s not that bad. Everything functions well, and it’s clean and secure. Great value for money, spacious room, spa access included, late checkout, and they even provide biscuits, tea, and water. The bed and pillows are comfy, and it’s definitely clean enough. I appreciate the pin code entry instead of a keycard!

The pool was chilly again, and the pool area could use a bit more cleaning. The bed felt quite firm this time, which made for a less than ideal sleep. But it wasn't too bad, as I enjoyed watching the birds from my window at 4am, which was lovely. My son really enjoys the pool, but it was cold again. The staff were polite, though they didn't seem as welcoming as I remembered from my last visit. I truly love the building and grounds, and the sense of peace I feel when I'm there. The hotel is beautiful.
