We decided to take a spontaneous getaway for the evening. After making our booking, we arrived less than an hour later, and our room was already prepared for us. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who promptly showed us to our room. Our accommodations were cozy and had everything we needed for our stay, plus a bit more. The room was fully equipped for us to prepare our own meals, but there was also a fantastic pub right next door offering both dine-in and takeaway options. Their parmo was absolutely outstanding. The cottage was situated in a beautiful, tranquil location, surrounded by stunning fields where our little dog had a blast running around. It was such a treat to find a place that welcomed dogs, as we’ve never had that experience before. All three of us slept soundly, thanks to the incredibly comfortable bed and the lovely warmth of the room. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone—you certainly won’t be let down. I’d return in a heartbeat if I could!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this charming little cottage with our two dogs, who absolutely adored it! There were stunning local walks to enjoy, and the pub right next door was just perfect, with such friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, which was exactly what we needed after our journey from Cornwall.
