The room was a decent size for what we needed, which was primarily a place to sleep. The bathroom was nice, and the shower was quite spacious. There was a TV, a kettle with coffee provided, but no tea, along with a small wardrobe and a vanity table with a mirror. The TV needed to be plugged in, with the cable running across the bathroom door at head height, but that wasn't a problem at all. The bed was comfortable, and the duvet was nice and thick. There were only two pillows on the bed, with no extras available. The heater worked well to keep the room warm, even when it dropped to 2 degrees at night, which was great. Just a heads up, the amenities list mentions a radio and hairdryer, but we didn't find either in our room. This wasn't an issue for us during our two-night stay, but it might be for someone staying longer. The WiFi was strong and free, which was a plus. The area was pleasant, and the reception staff were all very friendly. The room was quite affordable, especially for Valentine's weekend, so we were happy with our stay as it met our needs perfectly. A little side note: if you're on the top floor, be prepared for some morning calls from the pigeons that like to hang out on the roof!
