The property has a bit of character, and I did notice that the floor in my room was quite creaky (I just hoped there wasn’t anyone below me!). The lock on my door could use some attention, as the key tended to stick every time I used it, and the mechanism felt a bit loose, which made me a little uneasy about security. Another minor point was that there was some black mould starting to appear at the bottom of the bathroom wall, across from the toilet. Aside from that, the room was immaculate, well-prepared with ample tea, coffee, and milk, and there were plenty of nice towels. The bathroom, apart from the mentioned issue, was very clean and looked quite new. I had a brief interaction with the staff (possibly the owner?), and it was a helpful and pleasant experience. I didn’t have breakfast since I don’t eat it, so I can’t comment on that. I would definitely consider staying here again; it was a great value for the price (£56).
