What a wonderfully traditional hotel! The room sizes were impressive, and the bathroom was larger than many people's living rooms. The staff were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit us into the restaurant for the early savers menu. As someone who enjoys a bit of exhibitionism, having the WC right next to a clear glass window at the same level was quite thrilling. The reception area was so cozy, with an open fire that was a delightful touch after the rainy weather. The sticky toffee pudding was among the best I've ever tasted. Breakfast was excellent too!
