We initially thought we had booked Lamphey Court Hotel and were quite surprised to discover we had actually reserved a stay at Lamphey Hall Hotel, which, as it turns out, isn’t a spa hotel and doesn’t have a pool. We reached out to Lamphey Court Hotel to see if we could use their pool for a swim since the kids were feeling let down, but they wanted to charge us £30 per person, totaling £120! We had to accept our mix-up and made our way to Lamphey Hall Hotel instead. What started as a disappointment quickly turned into a delightful experience; the staff were absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself was charming, and the food was superb. The chef was incredibly accommodating regarding my allergies and even prepared a little menu for me, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. With Tenby and Barafundle Bay just a short drive away, we enjoyed some lovely outings instead of the spa experience we had anticipated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, thanks to the staff who went above and beyond for us. More than we can say for Lamphey Court Hotel!

At first glance, room 3 seemed a bit outdated, but honestly, it was clean and cozy. The TV had some sound issues, but once we got comfortable, we were greeted by the incredibly friendly staff and indulged in the fantastic food, making us forget all about the room. Even the locals and other guests were so welcoming. I don't know what they do to their chips, but they were absolutely divine! The fillet steak was cooked just right, and the breakfast selection was truly impressive. I can't wait to book again soon. The service was impeccable all around.
