The owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and genuinely cares about their team. I think the challenge they face is that some of the rooms could use a little love, but they need guests to come in to help fund those improvements. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to assist, even offering to prepare meals for our family. They guided us to our rooms with a smile, and we really wished we could have met Dora the dog! As a large family, we appreciated how well the hotel accommodated us all. The owner was very understanding, even when someone accidentally set off the alarm at 5am. This hotel has so much potential, and it’s clear they are doing everything they can. With so much competition around, it would be a shame to see such a lovely building fall into disrepair like some others.

The alcove window in our room offered a stunning and remarkable view of the South Pier. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The hotel is perfectly situated right across from a convenience store and is just a short stroll from the promenade and seafront tramways. There was a decent overnight car park that was partially visible from the hotel, conveniently located about 200 metres away, with reasonable parking rates of £15 for the first night and £10 for each additional night/day. This is a great deal compared to other local car parks we saw that charged £20 per night and didn’t allow overnight parking.
