We really enjoyed having a living area and kitchen facilities; everything was very clean and well presented. It was quite peaceful, except for the evening before and the day of the wedding happening nearby, which we weren't part of. The food from the Silverwood Sizzler was excellent, though it would be helpful if the menu in the lodges was updated to match what’s available, and knowing in advance that we needed to order online and schedule a collection time would have been great. It was only open for one night during our three-day stay.
We had a lovely stay at the tamworth Arms, great location for us and car parking too. Great choice of breakfast Inc.in the price, room was lovely and cozy with a much needed air con unit. It's on a busy road but we weren't disturbed at all. Only niggle was during the night the smell of the drains from the bathroom was awful, we did mention this and it's a Town problem I believe! (Room 15) but despite this I would definitely stay again but a different room 😉
