About 10 years, OYO bought up a lot of decaying hotel properties around the country. Their m.o. is not to fix up the external grounds or landscape. Hence, your first impression here will be a little negative, as the parking lot badly needs repaving, and there needs to be some nice flowers or shrubs. Importantly, the rooms are in great condition. Showers, electronics, and bedding are like new, although the bathrooms are a little long in the tooth. The location is right off the Turnpike and also near an alternative highway. There are many fast food restaurants, and a good laundromat, within a mile. The place could use a working ice machine. The only vending available is for sodas.
This is an older hotel but really clean and quiet. We were passing through and it was all we needed. We walked to a local place called steamers for dinner, highly recommend it.
