We were late arrivals checking in after the staff had finished for the day . I did speak to the manager to make arrangements to get the key to our room and let them know we were in our way and running late. Apon our arrival everything was exactly how we agreed in being able to find our keys. The rooms were clean had the view we as per our reservation purchase. I thought the motel was located a bit closer Into town and right above the bay not realizing it was on G Street across the street from the bay. So I was kinda surprised when we got there but that's no fault of the motel or staff. That's completely on me and to be totally honest I was happy with the room . The place was super quiet and we could hear the ocean. Upon metting the staff at check out the manager was very sweet and carried a very country-fied vibe that just made ya feel like home. Which is kinda ironic as my sister-in-law once lived across the street and about half the year for 10yrs Seaside was my home . I will likely return again . Fora spontaneous beach trip lata last min. reservation on a Saturday night I'm pleasantly surprised tho I still miss the little cottages that sat next door. So if you are looking for a no non sense place to stay that's clean and is run by a manager who makes you feel at home give this place a shot

The room was clean and appeared to be well maintained. They were short-staffed on cleaning staff, so even though there was no specific service I still gave them a five because short staffing happens. The front desk staff where a little rigid in their conversation and maybe need to be a little more customer friendly, but they were fine and never rude and I have no reason to give them a lower score. The location I only gave it a four not because it wasn't a great location, but because in my perfect world it would have been a little closer to the action on Broadway. But to no fault of theirs their location is still a great location on the river. The only other piece that concerned me was the lack of ADA parking spaces. As far as I could tell, there was like one in the whole of the two parking lots I visited while there which for me made parking difficult At one point I actually had to ask another guest to get in my car and pull it out of its parking spot because I couldn't open my door sufficiently due to the closeness of the car park next to me and the only ADA spot that I saw was taken by somebody without an ADA placard. Overall a nice, clean, comfortable less expensive place to stay. Will definitely be back!
