We decided to get away for a day because the rates we're good and they serve breakfast and have a wonderful swimming pool and they are close to the beach. Some of the rooms have a view of the ocean which is lovely just sit and stare at the waves. We stayed on the night of the 27th and the lady that worked then was very helpful to us very considerate and very friendly. Sure this is no four-star hotel but if you are somebody that wants the most for your money this place is absolutely the best choice. They also have Keurig K-Cups with some pretty decent selection of coffees in the room and their breakfast in the mornings is excellent with bagels and waffles, hot cereal, cold cereal, fresh fruit milk and juice so you can't go wrong. They also have local places that will deliver to you in the evening with some very good food items and local fresh fish if you want fish and chips. Also those places actually deliver to you and they don't use the rip-off doordash. If we go back to Newport again I will definitely be staying at that hotel
Staff was awesome. Friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice a spacious. Water pressure was great. Lighting options and bed great. Could see and hear the ocean. Beach access close and easy shopping near by. Minutes away from aquarium and wax museums. We had a great time away and relaxed. Because my partner is partly disabled we stayed in our room more than most probably do. Soundprof is great, didn't hear neighbors. But was disappointed the hot tub did not bubble (for our therapeutic reasons) chairs not too comfortable and not able to have extra pillows, a rooling cart would be handy (staff offered to help with luggage but we try to be somewhat self sufficient) and if I was solo a peep hole on door would be comforting. Free breakfast helped us have a relaxing vacation. Thanks for the great pet friendly place. I would recommend to others and if we stay in Newport again we will be back. I love the old style of Nye beach.
