I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were outstanding — Kike at the front desk and Neil made me feel right at home and were incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. Jan in the breakfast area was simply delightful — always so cheerful and friendly — and the bar staff consistently went above and beyond. The roof garden was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The view of the Liver Buildings was absolutely stunning, particularly in the evenings. I spent a great deal of my time up there — it’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and such a unique feature for a city hotel. I truly loved it and can’t wait to return. My room was a touch small, and the hallways could do with a bit of updating, but honestly, it didn't bother me — the air conditioning worked perfectly during a heatwave, keeping my room wonderfully cool and comfortable throughout my stay. All in all, it’s the staff, the atmosphere, and that magnificent roof garden that really made this stay memorable. I would wholeheartedly recommend it, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The lift situation at the hotel could use some improvement. During peak check-out times, three small lifts just aren't enough for the busy crowd! We ended up having to take the stairs with our large suitcases, which was quite a hassle. It would have been a different story if we were just carrying on bags. A porter service during busy check-out times would definitely be a great addition. Also, the bar could have had a more festive vibe for New Year's Eve before heading out to our dinner reservation. It lacked that celebratory atmosphere. On a positive note, the welcome drinks at check-in were a lovely touch!
