We booked a 'Superior Room' and mentioned in our notes that my husband has a partial disability. Upon arrival, we discovered that there were several steps leading to the 'Garden Rooms' where the 'Superior Room' was located, followed by more steps to access those rooms. The hotel staff were very helpful and moved us to a room in the main building, which has seven steps leading to the rooms on the ground floor. However, when we inquired about accessible rooms, particularly those with a 'walk-in shower', we were informed that due to the building being 'listed', there were limitations in providing such facilities. We were offered a 'Privilege Room' which, for those without disabilities, is very nice, clean, and well-equipped. Unfortunately, my husband found it difficult to use the shower as it was over a bath. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, although the staff over the weekend were not particularly friendly or helpful. In contrast, on Monday, they were very warm and attentive. Additionally, the television throughout the hotel was not functioning as they were 'updating their system'.

The hotel is within walking distance from the town area and is located on a hill, so if you can choose a room on the second floor, you can enjoy a wonderful view and comfort. The area is lively with many young people gathering, and there are plenty of activities, which made me want to stay for a long time. The laundry service being available only until 6 PM is a bit inconvenient, but it's a good point that there are Japanese staff available for easy consultation.
