The staff here are incredibly friendly - when we checked in, the person at the front desk asked if my parents were comfortable with stairs and kindly switched our room to a lower floor since their knees aren't the best. There’s a fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks, which is a nice touch. I appreciated the different colors and designs of the towels, making it easy to tell whose was whose. The beds were super comfortable, and the feather duvet was a lovely addition. The food was absolutely fantastic - my dad had the rabbit and raved about it. The beef bourguignon was both tender and packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the shared mixed grill, which was loaded with a variety of meats and grilled veggies. The full cooked breakfast is definitely worth it, and there are plenty of other options to choose from. Eddie at the bar was so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Overall, we all had a wonderful time during our stay.
What an incredible place with fantastic staff! The pub was charming, the food was scrumptious, the service was top-notch, and the beer was simply wonderful! To top it all off, the bedrooms upstairs offered comfort and tranquility for a restful night's sleep. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! I truly appreciate you going above and beyond to ensure we had dinner after a long, hectic day, especially when we arrived just moments before the kitchen closed. Another highlight was the bus stop just a few steps away from the venue. And I must say, the view from our room was incredibly calming!
